If you want to improve your physical health, mental health, emotional health, or a combination of them all, it makes sense to write down some healthy goals. Write down five health goals that would improve your life quality; these goals will help you to make healthier choices in your life.
Healthy Eating
Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring. In fact, some of the tastiest foods can also be the healthiest; think of fresh fruit and berries that are expensive in the supermarket when they’re in season; think of Mexican burritos that are delicious, low-calorie, and packed with vegetables.
Healthy eating is an important part of a healthy lifestyle; it supports your physical, mental, and emotional health to improve your life quality and make you happier. When you switch to fresher foods your body responds and all of a sudden, you start to crave much healthier foods.
Healthy Holidays
Everybody needs a holiday now and again, a chance to get away from the daily grind and recharge the batteries, but this doesn’t have to mean a sedentary holiday. It doesn’t have to mean spending all day at the beach and all night at the bars. It can mean a healthy holiday.
Staying active is excellent for your overall health, but it also floods your brain with happy chemicals and boosts your mood. Instead of starving your brain of serotonin and dopamine by eating heavy foods, why not head off on a Sicilian cycling holiday with a friend and get healthy?
Long Term Goals
When we start thinking about living a healthier lifestyle and improving our life quality, there is a tendency to o overestimate our abilities to succeed. Society trains us to want instant gratification, and this extends to our health and wellbeing as well, but a healthy life takes time.
Don’t put pressure on yourself to succeed; instead, set long-term goals for yourself and check in with them every so often. Instant gratification can lead to pressure and reduced life quality, but a long-term strategy takes the pressure off and gives your plenty of time and space to succeed.

Some friends are fun to be around, but they might not support your health goals the way you would like. If you feel like some friendships or groups don’t align with your internal life goals, it might be time to find a new group to influence you. It doesn’t mean you have to cut people off.
