A Few Favourite Things – Dear Bear and Beany
Hi, I’m Laura and I blog over at Dear Bear and Beany, a family and lifestyle blog about life with my husband and our two daughters, Alice and Holly.
We live in a small village in Hampshire and love to spend as much time as possible outside exploring and having adventures. Making the most of the ordinary moments in life.
Favourite room in your home
We moved house just before Christmas and my favourite room is my lounge. I love the layout of it that means we have an area that is not full of toys. I love the furniture, with my new shutters at the windows and my photos shelves. It’s definitely somewhere we can all relax in.
Favourite trend
I would say my house is a mixture of modern and country. One of my favourite things is interiors and I spend hours browsing the internet for the perfect item. It has been so much fun moving house and making each room different and to our style.
Favourite thing you own
Ooh, this is a tough one! My husband would say my favourite thing is my MacBook that he brought me, as I’m always attached to it. (ha ha!) But, I would say my favourite item is my necklace that my girls brought me for Mother’s day. It is 2 hearts entwined and I love it.
Favourite colour
Yellow is my favourite colour and has been forever. I love that is bright and cheerful, that it reminds me of the sun. I have yellow accessories in my lounge and it’s lovely to have pops of this bright colour around the room.
Favourite season
I’m a summer girl, I’m born in the summer and life just seems that little bit easier and nicer when the sun is out. I have more fresh flowers in my house, which makes it look and smell nice.
Favourite about where you live
I love that where we live now, we have lots of lovely walks around to explore. But, that we are still close to our families and we love to spend time with them. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
