One of my least favourite places to spring clean is the garage. One of the most important places to spring clean? The garage. When you are preparing for warm weather you need to take time to clean the hub of your family warm-weather fun. The garage may be a big task of organisation, but if you don’t have time for that there are several easy spring cleaning tasks for the garage that will help you get ahead even if you don’t have all day.

Garage spring cleaning tasks
Clean out all the junk
Grab a rubbish bag or bin and do a quick walkthrough to clean out all of the junk that you do not need at a later date that you always overlook. It only takes a moment to get enough done on this taste to see a noticeable difference.
Clear the cobwebs
Grab a broom or shop vac and start cleaning away winter cobwebs, dust piles, and general messes. A shop vac is the best way to do this. It is much more efficient than a boom but in a pinch, a broom can do a great job removing dust and unwanted insects from your garden.
Garage door
Give your garage door a quick cleaning and add fresh lubricant like WD-40 to help stop squeaking and stuck garage doors. This is a great spring cleaning task that will save you money in the long run when the weather turns cold.
Stain removal
Remove oil stains from your garage floor by covering with a liberal amount of baking soda and scrubbing it was. The follow with Dawn dish detergent to break down the great that did not observe into the baking soda to be swept away.
Boxes and organise storage containers
Once the holidays come to an end most families will toss the decorations and supplies into whatever they have to hand in order to get them out of the way. However, this is the perfect time to ensure that decorations are stored within storage boxes and labelled so that they are easy to locate when needed.
