It’s coming into the winter and time to cosy up in your house. So this autumn and winter is a great time to think about how to change your window dressing to block out the winter rain and snow from view. Venetian blinds are a great way to update a room in your home. They’re easy to fit and are effective when you want to tilt them to block out low winter sun, or nosy neighbours.

Updating your home with Venetian blinds

Venetian blinds have previously come under fire in the years gone by.  Many people think that they are suited to an office or work environment rather than the home.  Nowadays they are available in a great range of colours and designs which really can add a modern touch to your home.

Neutral, Colourful, or Wooden?

Whether you are looking to stay neutral, add a pop of colour to your room or wish to add a more traditional wooden shutter feel at a more cost-effective price then Venetian blinds might just be the answer for you.  Both the neutral and coloured blinds offer you the choice to coordinate with your current home decor or give a background colour that you can add an accent colour.

With a great range of wooden blinds also which come in a range of colours including oak, chestnut, beech, hazel pine and white to name but a few. You can even get blackout blinds in vertical or horizontal styles which are customised to fit your window. Venetian blinds are a cost-effective, stylish and practical way to change the light your windows let in.

Measure, Order, and Fitting

Complete with a 12-month warranty so that in the unlikely event that your blinds develop a fault, they will be amended or replaced.  Not only will you have lovely windows, but you’ll also have peace of mind.   Made to measure to your window sizing because all windows are different and you can then be sure that your blinds will fit your windows perfectly. All that remains for you to do is to measure your windows using the website instructions, order them online and then try to wait patiently while your blinds arrive.  With step-by-step fitting instructions included you will be able to add these to your desired room with ease.

Then you can then cosy up in your home and get the most out of your living rooms and dining rooms no matter the weather!

Although they can look nice in any room, I am really not a fan of Venetian blinds, simply because they are a pain to clean. I once got one of the custom cleaners for the ones we had in a previous house but even that didn’t quite bring them back to looking clean.

We could absolutely do with some of these for rooms where we have no cover for the windows, they’re such a great and cost effective solution. Thank you for linking up with #HomeEtc x
