A Few Favourite Things – Chilling with Lucas
I’m Jenni, I live in Lancashire with my partner and our soon to be 3-year-old son. I write a family and lifestyle blog, Chilling with Lucas. As well as blogging I am a virtual assistant supporting businesses and bloggers with their admin and social media.
Favourite room in your home
My bedroom, it’s the most recently decorated and I went for a lot of a lighter look. We also got a new mattress this year and it is the comfiest I have ever owned. I still co-sleep with Lucas so it’s lovely waking up next to him and having snuggles watching TV before we get up in the morning.
Favourite trend
I don’t really follow trends, I tend to just buy something if I like it and mix and match old and new with both clothing and when decorating the house
Favourite thing you own
This is going to sound so shallow but my phone is my favourite item. I do the majority of my work on my phone whether that is blogging or as a virtual assistant for others. If I didn’t have my phone, I wouldn’t be able to work around Lucas and spend so much time together doing what we enjoy.
Favourite colour
My favourite colour is purple but when I look at how I designed my blog and the cover for my virtual assistant page, there is a lot of pink so subconsciously I must really like pink too!
Favourite season
Hmmm I don’t know. I love Summer because it’s meant to be sunny but in reality, we usually get our sunshine around March/April and September so I’m not sure. I do like having different seasons though, as much as it is appealing to have nice weather all year round, I do quite like having varying degrees of warmth/cold/rain/sunshine. I would say snow but it doesn’t snow where I am, the last time we really had snow was in 2010. I’m waffling now! I quite like winter when I can close the curtains, get loads of my candles out and snuggle up under a blanket
Favourite thing about where you live
I love that within an hour I can be in Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool or the Lake District

Nice to learn a bit more about you. I always say that purple is my favourite colour but actually I have decided that rainbows are my favourite 😉
